The exhibition, which utilises recycled materials, consists of original works that combine the students' environmental awareness with artistic production. The exhibition, which opened at 10:00 am, will welcome visitors for four days.
The opening ceremony was attended by STMF Dean Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci, Mabesem Culture and Arts Branch Manager Coşkun Karaağaç, Head of Visual Arts Arif Toprak, Painting Society academic advisor Dr. Lecturer Selcan Kalın, students involved in the project, and art lovers.
An Artistic Perspective on Ecological Balance
Dr. Selcan Kalın, who curated the project, stated that the workshops held as part of the exhibition focused on ecological balance. Kalın expressed that she reflected the common ecological structure of countries located on different continents and the fragile cycle of this structure in her work.
The project, implemented as part of the UNIDES 4th Term Programme, set an important example in terms of both artistic production and environmental awareness. Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci congratulated the students involved in the project and presented them with participation certificates. Çiftci emphasised that such activities enhance the creative thinking skills of faculty students and add value to the university's artistic environment.
