“LONELY WOMAN” THEATER MET WITH MALATIANS

The theater play “Lonely Woman” staged by the Department of Performing Arts of our faculty met with the audience free of charge on March 7, 2025 at Battalgazi Municipality Conference Hall. Written by famous Italian writers Dario Fo & Franca Rame and translated into Turkish by Füsun Demirel, the play, which deals with gender roles, women's place in society and the search for freedom, was directed by STMF Performing Arts Department Research Assistant. Assistant Professor Sündüz Adİlak directed the play and actress Fatma Şahin played the lead role. The play “Lonely Woman”, whose assistant director and poster design was done by Can Zengin, has an important place among the theater works aimed at raising social awareness.
