The Women's Choir and Orchestra concert, organized by MTU Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Music and Women and Family Studies Application and Research Center, in cooperation with Malatya ŞÖNİM Directorate, met with art lovers on March 8, 2025 at Malatya Park Shopping Mall Show Area. The event was held with the motto “From Women's Voices, From Women's Strings” and the conductor of the orchestra and choir was STMF Department of Music Research Assistant. Assist. İrem Polat Açık, while the artistic director was STMF Dean Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci. The choir and orchestra performed women-themed works and gave the audience unforgettable moments. The concert opened with the choir playing and singing the National Anthem. In the concert, “Stars of The Summer Nights”, “German Dance”, “Hanımın Çiftliği”, “Bird Sounds Spread to the Plains”, “İnsan İnsan” performed by Soloist Miray Yağlıcı, “Ünzile” performed by Soloist Duygu Otlu, “Lal” performed by Soloist Zilan Özkırtay, “Unutmamalı” performed by Soloist Zuhal Çelik, Soloist Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Aycan sang “Let's Make Peace Now”, Soloist Bahar Doğan sang “Sana Bir Şey Olmasın”, Soloist Arya Önem Sayın sang “Başıma Gelenler” and Soloist Assoc. Assist. İrem Polat Açık sang “Zor Kadın” songs.
