Within the scope of the 2024-2025 academic year, the Department of Performing Arts of our faculty is organizing a meaningful event special for the World Theater Day on March 27. The theater play “Every Thief is Not a Bandit”, prepared by the students of the department and whose rehearsals are continuing rapidly, will meet the audience after the Ramadan Feast. This comedy play, written by Italian writer Dario Fo and translated into Turkish by Füsun Demirel, is directed by Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Atakan Aslan is the director. Fatma Şahin and Yusuf Enes Dinç take part in the direction and technical editing of the play. The cast that will add color to the stage includes Serkan Özdemir, Ebru Polat, Can Zengin, Ferda Çelik, Diyar Kaplan, Filiz Kamış and Ömer Kaya Solmazgül. This entertaining play, which can be watched free of charge by all theater lovers, will be performed on the STMF stage in the faculty building. This special event, which brings the unifying and thought-provoking power of art to the stage, invites both the university community and all theater lovers to the STMF stage.
