April 23rd was celebrated with enthusiasm in Umutkent

Faculty of Art Design and Architecture (STMF) celebrated April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day with the children living in “Umutkent Container Living Space”. On Wednesday, April 23rd, the celebration program was attended by Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci, Assistant Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Doğan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdi Karaönçel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Döndü Tülay Özkul from the Department of Painting and Research Assist. Assist. Mustafa Yasin Aydoğan from the Department of Painting, Dr. Lecturer from the Department of Visual Communication Design Prof. Dr. Yasemin Keskin Yılmaz from the Department of Music, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olcay Korkmaz and Assist. Assist. Harun Barış from the Department of Music, Dr. Lecturer from the Department of Performing Arts Prof. Dr. Tuna Taşdemir, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Atakan Aslan, Assist. Assist. Sündüz Adilak participated. Within the scope of the event, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Olcay Korkmaz conducted Umutkent Container City Children's Choir took the stage. The students of the Department of Painting helped children carry the enthusiasm of April 23rd on paper with the Painting Workshop. Students from the Department of Performing Arts, on the other hand, gave children unforgettable moments with the children's theater play Mis and Pis, which explained the importance of cleanliness and regular nutrition. In the celebration program, clown shows and various treats provided children with pleasant moments; colorful images emerged throughout the event. At the end of the event, children were presented with books suitable for their age groups.
