Saplings were planted for a Green Campus

Malatya Turgut Özal University held a sapling planting event in the garden of our faculty on Friday, April 25, 2025, within the framework of the “Sapling Planting Event on the Green Campus Journey” organized within the scope of March 30 International Zero Waste Day. The event, organized in cooperation with the Sustainable University Coordinatorship and Zero Waste Management Coordinatorship, was attended by STMF Dean Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci, Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdi Karaönçel, Music Department lecturer and also Faculty Secretary Assoc. Assist. Harun Barış, faculty academic and administrative staff and students attended the event. Yeşilyurt Aspuzu Kindergarten students also accompanied the event and created cheerful and colorful images during the sapling planting. While the little students were excited to contribute to nature, the event once again reminded the participants of the importance of environmental awareness. The event ended with watering the saplings and taking a group photo.
