MTU and Inonu University performed together at the 50th Anniversary Concert

The “50th Anniversary Special Concert”, organized in honor of the 50th anniversary of Inonu University, took place on Friday, May 2 at Inonu University Turgut Özal Congress and Culture Center. This meaningful event, which attracted great interest from art lovers, was staged in cooperation with Inonu University and Malatya Turgut Özal University and turned into an art feast.

In the concert, a combined orchestra and choir consisting of the faculty members and students of Inonu University Faculty of Education Music Teaching Program and Malatya Turgut Özal University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (STMF) Music Department met with music lovers. The orchestra was conducted by conductor Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci. MTU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Selim Özkan, İnönü University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özkan, academic and administrative staff of both universities and students attended the program.

In the concert, “Inonu University 50th Year Anthem”, which was written and composed by Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci, Dean of ISTU STMF, for the 50th anniversary of Inonu University, was performed by the choir for the first time. The repertoire of the concert covered a wide range from classics to contemporary works, from folk song arrangements to original compositions. Here are the works that marked the night:
