Malatya Turgut Özal University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (STMF) Department of Visual Communication Design hosted producer Erdal Eğilmez in an online interview on Friday, May 9, at 8:00 p.m. to share his industry experience with students.

Moderated by STMF Visual Communication Design Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Arğın, the talk featured Erdal Eğilmez sharing his experiences with students in an open and honest manner, including his transition from university education to the media industry, the diverse production dynamics and work methods he encountered in news channels, TV series, and film projects, as well as the challenges of the industry. Students gained comprehensive insights into topics such as which media organizations he has worked with, how he manages intense work schedules, and how he maintains motivation in the face of challenges. By sharing his experiences with young people aspiring to advance in communication design, Eğilmez contributed to enhancing students' perspectives on the industry and helping them establish a roadmap for their career planning.

Who is Erdal Eğilmez?

Erdal Eğilmez is a producer with many years of experience in media and communications. Based in Manisa, Eğilmez has been serving as CEO of Spilnet Telekomünikasyon since 2017. Previously, Eğilmez worked as a director at TRT Haber (2016) and as a producer at Bugün TV (2009–2015), playing an active role in both news and television broadcasting within the industry. A graduate of the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department at Fırat University's Faculty of Communication, Eğilmez specializes in social media, advertising, journalism, and television. He continues to inspire young communicators with the knowledge he gained during his university years and his industry experience.
