APRICOT Pop Band Performed on the Last Day of MTÜ Spring Festival

On the final day of Malatya Turgut Özal University's (MTÜ) Spring Festival, held between May 5 and 8, 2025, the APRICOT Pop Band, consisting of students from the Music Department of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture (STMF), gave an energetic, enthusiastic, and professional performance to the audience.

The concert, directed by STMF Music Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdi Karaönçel, took place on Wednesday, May 8, at 5:00 p.m. at the Battalgazi Campus. The concert's soloist, Akif Yılmaz, delighted the audience with his powerful voice and stage performance, accompanied by Nazlı Cengiz, Duygu Otlu, Birol İmrek, Cihan Mamuk, and İlkan Çiftçi on vocals. Other musicians who contributed to the stage performance included Yusuf Eliş on electric guitar, Ramazan Kaya on keyboard, Emre Görkem Berkay on bass guitar, Serkan Bayram on oud, and Emre Arslan on drums.

APRICOT Pop Band, which took the stage with a wide repertoire ranging from beloved pop classics to today's hits, provided the audience with enjoyable moments. The event provided a meaningful conclusion to MTÜ Spring Festivals by offering students the opportunity to bring their artistic productions to the stage.
