Assistant Professor Yasemin Keskin Yılmaz receives the “Academic Golden Pen” Award

Dr. Yasemin Keskin Yılmaz, a faculty member of our Faculty of Visual Communication Design, was awarded the “Academic Golden Pen in Advertising” award at the 7th Golden Human Awards organized by the book, culture, and art newspaper Book Culture Art Time.

The Golden Human Awards ceremony, held on May 17, 2025, at Mihrabat Korusu in Istanbul, brought together leading figures from the worlds of science, culture, art, and media, despite heavy rainfall.

Dr. Keskin Yılmaz caught the jury's attention with his academic work titled “Consumer Brand Participation and Instagram Mothers,” published by Education Publishing House, and was deemed worthy of the award. Keskin Yılmaz, who has earned the admiration of the public and academic circles with his original contributions to the fields of advertising and digital marketing, emphasized the importance of transforming scientific production into social benefit in his speech at the ceremony and stated that the recognition of his academic work conducted under the umbrella of Malatya Turgut Özal University has motivated him even more.
