Malatya Turgut Özal University (MTÜ) Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (STMF) Visual Communication Design Department students' end-of-year exhibition opened on Tuesday, May 20, at 1:30 p.m. in the STMF Foyer Area. The exhibition, which welcomed visitors on May 20-21, showcased the students' works that they had worked on throughout the year.

Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Emrah Arğın, the exhibition was guided by advisors Dr. Necip İhsan Arıkan, Lecturer Yusuf Söylemez, and Lecturer İbrahim Kaya, who contributed to the students' development by guiding their projects in line with the education they provided throughout the semester.

The opening ceremony was attended by STMF Dean Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci, Deputy Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdi Karaönçel and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Doğan, Faculty Secretary Lecturer Harun Barış, Head of the Visual Communication Design Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Arğın, Dr. Lecturer Yasemin Keskin Yılmaz, Painting Department faculty members Dr. Lecturer Selcan Kalın and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Döndü Tülay Özkul, as well as administrative staff and students.

Lecturer Yusuf Söylemez stated that the exhibition was not only an artistic production but also a process in which students experienced creating a corporate identity from scratch. “They planned all the details themselves, from the emblem to the letterhead, from the invoice to the logo. They were very successful,” he said, congratulating his students.

In his statement, our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci said that the exhibition was a multifaceted and labor-intensive work reflecting various dimensions of visual communication, adding, “I congratulate our department faculty and students. The exhibition will be open for two days. We invite all art lovers to attend.”
