STMF Academic Council Meeting Held

The Faculty Council Meeting, where the general evaluation of the 2024-2025 academic year and preparations for the 2025-2026 academic year were discussed, was held on Thursday, May 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Kenan Işık Amphitheater.

The meeting was chaired by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci, with Dean Assistants Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Doğan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdi Karaönçel, Faculty Secretary Lecturer Harun Barış, and faculty members from the Departments of Music, Painting, Performing Arts, Visual Communication Design, and Radio, Television, and Cinema Departments, as well as research assistants working in these departments.

The meeting covered the general evaluation of the 2024-2025 academic year, proxy and annual leave procedures, the relationship between final exams and learning outcomes, faculty strategic plan data, departmental needs, the graduate portal application, course distributions and assignments for the 2025-2026 fall semester, the special talent exam schedule, and the evaluation of quality processes.

The meeting, which concluded with mutual exchange of views, resulted in various recommendations aimed at ensuring more effective academic and administrative operations.
