March 18 Çanakkale Concert at Malatya Turgut Özal University

Students of the music department took the stage at the event organized by Malatya Turgut Özal University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Music within the scope of “Çanakkale Victory Concert with our Folk Songs”. Our vice rectors Prof. Dr. İlhan ERDEM and Prof. Dr. Orhan GÜNDÜZ, our general secretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Selim ÖZKAN, our academic staff, administrative staff and university students participated in the event. Within the scope of the concert, our participants residing in Umut Container City were also hosted. The artistic director Prof. Dr. Ersan ÇİFTCİ's choral conductor was the music department Lecturer. Assist. Harun BARIŞ, the event was accompanied by a cinevision show and the folk songs “Mehrali Bey Lament (I'm Leaving Rüştü Beyim), There is No Cloud in the Air (Yemen Folk Song), Mirror Bazaar in Çanakkale, Regimental Anthem (My Mother Raised Me), Bird Coming from Cabur Dağdan, Plevne Anthem (Danube River Says Not to Flow) and Çanakkale Today Dust and Smoke” were performed in chorus.
