April 23rd Celebrated with Joy in Umutkent Container City

Students from the Departments of Music, Painting and Performing Arts at the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture of our University shared art therapy support activities with earthquake-stricken children in Malatya “Umutkent” container living area established by Koç Group in Malatya after the February 6 earthquakes. The holiday celebrations, which included a pop music concert, Hacivat-Karagöz middle play, clown shows, children's painting workshops and coloring activities, were met with great interest from children and parents. Our university's SKS department and Kale Tourism and Hotel Management Vocational School provided refreshments and candy apples for the children. We would like to thank the Koç Group managers and staff of Malatya 'Umutkent' Container Living Space for hosting the event, which was also attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan Erdem and Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture Prof. Dr. Ersan Çiftci.
